Skimming the sky of Kuala Lumpur

With 118 floors and 679 meters high, the Merdeka PNB118 is the second tallest skyscraper in the world. It is located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

This colossus fuses tradition and modernity. It does so with an eye to Malaysian culture, thanks to the collaboration with local artists to integrate traditional motifs into the architecture. To get an idea of the magnitude of this building, it is enough to note that the length of its spire (140 meters) is 40 meters longer than the Giralda.

This project was quite a geotectonic challenge in which the techniques used to maximize energy efficiency and the use of cutting-edge technologies highlight the importance of sustainability and innovation for the ACS Group.
